Take a walk along the many paths opening the doors to the town’s heritage and exceptional nature. Elevation gains of these hikes in the Pyreneans are ranging from 200 to 1410 meters. From the Cami del Pastou, follow the trail to reach the Senyera flag, one of the oldest in Europe. Admire the breathtaking view of the valley. Second major hiker is the one leading to the Montbolo Calvary. Suspended at 337 meters altitude, the cross also offers a magnificent view of the town.
If you want to be accompanied during your hikes, the Station Nordik Walk will take you through the best hiking trails to discover beautiful landscapes.
The village of Palalda invites you to discover its heritage through a preserved medieval past. Find the Saint-Martin church dating from the 13th century and the Rosaire chapel with its altarpiece, classified as a National Heritage Site. Uptown, discover the castle of Fort-les-Bains, steeped in history.
Many other establishments wait for you and your cultural visits: the Musée de la Poste, the Musée des Arts et Traditions populaires and the Mackintosh interpretive center.
