CAMPING-CAR PARK has always been committed to respecting the private lives of its members (“You”) in the first 1st European network of service areas and stopover areas (“Network”). Whether you are visiting us at one of our sites, contacting our call center, browsing on our websites or using the mobile application (the “CCP tools”), we make sure your data is protected. By using our services, you give us consent to use your personal information, so it is of paramount importance for us to explain how we process it and why, through this charter.
You put your trust in us, and we want to ensure you that you made the right decision. In this charter, you will also find information allowing you to exercise your rights regarding the protection of your personal data, if you deem it necessary.

I. THE ENTITY RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA PROCESSING

CAMPING-CAR PARK S.A.S, located at 3 Rue du Docteur Ange Guépin – 44210 Pornic (hereafter referred to as « CAMPING-CAR PARK ») is the entity responsible for the processing of personal data collected and processed via the CAMPING-CAR PARK Services.

II. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This charter describes the ways in which CAMPING-CAR PARK processes your data regardless of the communication channel used. These channels include our terminals and automatic machines, any exchanges with our call center agents or via the brand’s mobile application and websites. All personal data processed through all channels will be done so in respect of this charter.

III. THE NATURE OF DATA COLLECTED

The nature of the data which we may be led to collect includes:

  • Your surname, first name, address, e-mail, telephone number

  • Your billing and / or delivery address
  • Your IP/Mac address
  • Connexion indicators “cookies”
  • Connection and browsing data
  • Products and services purchase history
  • Other information which you wish to communicate with us

i. to process your request and book a pitch for your day of arrival

ii. to invoice you - (note that our payment provider is only authorized to store your bank details in order to transfer the payment to your banking provider)

B. AREA REVIEWS

i. to share your trip review about an area with the other members in the network

ii. in order to improve our services

C. SATISFACTION SURVEY ANSWERS SENT OUT TO NEW MEMBERS

i. to improve our services and adapt the network areas for the vehicles you are driving

ii. to inform our partners at each area of the network members’ expectations

3. AUTOMATICALLY

A. WHEN YOU USE THE NETWORK AREAS, YOUR PASS’ETAPES CARD AND YOUR PACK’PRIVILEGES

i. to give you access to the area in order to park there

ii. to invoice you for actual time spent on an area and to allow you to use services in the area (pitches, draining, water and electricity)

iii. to keep you informed of your use of the network

iv. to warn you of a weather alert or other emergencies during your stay

v. to respond to your requests for assistance or questions via the call center

vi. to calculate the number of remaining pitches in an area so as to authorise other users to enter or exit it.

B. COOKIES

i. to understand how you use our website and mobile applications with a view to improving them and better adapting them for our users

ii. to memorise your search information so you can use our Internet and mobile tools more intuitively and efficiently

iii. to geolocalise you so as to inform you of availability at any given time on nearby areas

V. THE SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

1. WHO WITH AND WHY ?

We will not divulge your contact details to other companies for marketing purposes.
However, we sometimes rely on third parties to meet your expectations. In these cases, selected information will be communicated. When this is done, drastic safety measures will always be undertaken to secure you against illicit divulgation, use, modification or destruction of your information.

A. OUR PARTNERS

The areas owners in our network: we only share your surname, first name, and the details of your stay with them so that they have visibility on the visitation to the area (for safety reasons and invoicing).

B. QUALIFIED SUBCONTRACTORS

They may aid us in our mission to always better serve and inform you (Android & iOS applications, the collection of responses to our satisfaction survey, SMS and notifications connected to your use of services or informative messages, payment management, our web server hosting, electronic communication tools, WiFi in the areas, etc).

C. AUTHORITIES

They may be notified when we consider it necessary for the safety of persons.

D. ANY OTHER PERSON

We do not sell, distribute or otherwise share your personal data unless we have received your authorisation to do so.

2. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

CAMPING-CAR PARK reserves the right to transfer your personal data to countries outside of your country of residence, and in particular to the countries where we offer areas. The data protection laws of these countries may differ to the laws in your country but CAMPING-CAR PARK ensures appropriate measures are taken to protect your personal data in these countries in line with this Personal Data Privacy Charter.

3. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

It should be noted that we may redirect you to the services of a third party while you are browsing on our CAMPING-CAR PARK websites or mobile applications. It should be noted that CAMPING-CAR PARK is not responsible for the protection of your data on these third party websites and you are advised to consult the Personal Data Privacy Charters of these sites for further information.

VI. YOUR RIGHTS CONCERNING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

1. IN ACCORDANCE WITH LEGAL REQUIREMENTS, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE FOLLOWING AT ANY TIME:

i. information concerning the data we are processing as well as a copy of it

ii. access to all of the information you have provided on a voluntary basis, no matter which channel it was provided through

iii. that the processing of your personal data be limited, subject to compliance with legal obligations

iv. that your data not be processed for reasons pertaining to your individual circumstances in the cases prescribed by the law

v. to exercise your right to correct or modify any information you have provided us no matter which channel it was provided through

vi. to delete your data on legitimate grounds

vii. to transfer your personal data if legal requirements are met and if it is technically possible.

Unsubscribe links are provided in all of our marketing emails, so you may unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time. Similarly, by refusing cookies when you arrive on our website, we are able to adjust the processing rules applied to your search engine.
You can exercise all of the aforementioned rights by contacting the Processing Manager whose contact details are mentioned in the introduction to this charter.

VII. SAFETY

Our information system is secure; it has been designed to meet your expectations in terms of your personal data protection. All of the work carried out by our developers (both internal and external) takes this constraint into account, this with respect to existing features and applications, and the new ones we will create to improve your experience in our network. We take technical and organisational measures which enable us to guarantee the security of this information.
We have also chosen to work with secured payment providers (Monetico, Lyra Network and SystemPay).
It should be noted that it is essential that you protect yourself against unlawful access to your password, computer, applications and devices. If you share a computer or mobile terminal, then it is essential to disconnect after each session.

VIII. DATA RETENTION

CAMPING-CAR PARK is committed to not keeping your personal data for longer than the time necessary to provide you the services described in this charter. Nevertheless, it is sometimes necessary to retain some elements of your personal data for a period of time after the deactivation or termination of your account for legitimate operations such as record keeping and to respect our legal obligations. When we retain your information, we do so in accordance with the applicable laws.

IX. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Personal Data Privacy Charter will evolve over time and we invite you to consult it regularly. We commit to changing the modification date every time an update is made.
