Tourism / Discovery

Plouha is known for its incredible landscapes, which you can easily admire while walking on the many hiking trails, including the GR34. You can also admire Brittany’s highest cliffs (104 m). By following this trail, you will come across the magnificent Bay of Saint-Brieuc, the largest nature reserve of the region.

From the campsite, enjoy several seaside restaurants (crêperie, brasserie…). The city center of Plouha is 4 km away.

Other outdoor sports (cycling, mountain biking and horse riding) give you privileged access to sites worth visiting: the Côte du Goëlo, the Gwin Zegal anchorage (one the last remaining pile harbours in Europe), the seven chapels of Plouha as well as the sites dedicated to the Shelburn resistance network during the Second World War. As you walk along the beaches of this Breton destination, you will find both peaceful and relaxing spots and a remarkable historical heritage.

Learn more about the history of Plouha, starting point of the linguistic border between French and Breton. During the 19th century, the village was in the middle of a route that defined the border between Lower and Upper Brittany.
