Saint-Béat-Lez has a very rich heritage, both for its history and its architecture! Today called the marble city, Saint-Béat-Lez owes its reputation above all to its white marble quarries.
It is precisely thanks to this richness that, every year, marble sculptors create monumental statues under the eyes of the public during the Sculpture and Marble Festival.
This region's unspoiled nature also offers many activities to do in family. White water activities on the Garonne, walking or cycling, paragliding, fishing...
More than 100 km of marked trails are propitious for hiking, both for experienced and novice hikers. These hikes guarantee the discovery of superb panoramas of the central Pyrenees and the natural and cultural sites.
Only 20 km separate Saint-Béat-Lez from Spain.
It is an ideal stopover to make the road and take the RN 125, which links Toulouse to Spain via a tunnel. The village is also only 10 km from a medium altitude ski resort : the Mourtis ski resort.
