Motorhome area of Bühl

Between the Rhine and the Black Forest, welcome to Bühl in Baden-Wurttemberg, the very first German destination of the CAMPING-CAR PARK network. The motorhome stopover is about 50 kilometers from Strasbourg and about 10 kilometers from Baden-Baden, a picturesque spa town with a well-preserved heritage. Besides its numerous thermal baths, it is a cultural, gastronomic, natural and dynamic destination that offers a wide range of activities. With its great variety of landscapes, Bühl is an invitation to make several journeys in one. Dark and enchanting, the Black Forest is the largest mountain range in southwestern Germany. Surrounded by spruce, fir and beech trees, the wind in the trees and the birds are the only sounds you will hear. The north-western part of the forest is divided between flat and dense areas and the vineyards of the Rhine valley. The town centre of Bühl is easily accessible from the motorhome stopover. Discover the Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul with its 63 meters high tower and the town hall. The lively Johannesplatz and its half-timbered houses is the oldest and most charming part of Bühl. Nearby sights include the Windeck Castle ruins (4.4 km), the Gertelbach waterfalls (12 km) and the Geroldsau waterfall (14 km). Stroll along the many family-friendly paths. The Black Forest Route, the Ortenau Wine Route, the Baden Wine Cycle Route and the nature park cycle path offer you a variety of scenery. In winter, don’t miss the Mehliskopf ski area, 15 kilometers away. This family resort is situated between 825 and 1008 meters above sea level and offers 1.5 kilometers of slopes from December to March.
