Welcome to Touraine! Located 45 km south of Tours, Sepmes invites you to discover Touraine and the Loire Valley.
The botanical garden across the campsite (Jardin d’Artiste de la Cressonnière) takes you into a lush and diverse greenery: flowers of all colours, trees of all origins, playgrounds, fish ponds and exotic poultry. Enjoy exhibitions by Touraine artists in the art galleries. In summer, events take place in the garden.
Explore the surroundings thanks to the hiking trails of Sepmes: loops of 21,7 km and 9,2 km. Both of them start in the town center and take you into nature, between woods, rivers and countryside. Follow the Coteaux de Draché educational trail and discover a troglodytic hamlet and its natural setting on 4,5 kilometers.
Less than 5 kilometers from the area, the Cabri educational farm welcomes you to its goat livestock farming. Discovery workshops are organised during school holidays.
Visit Crissay-sur-Manse, a village classified « Plus Beaux Villages de France » located 20 km from the site. Its town center and monuments are well worth a visit. You can also make a detour to Loches, « Plus Beaux Détours de France », and its Royal City. The city combines gentleness and way of life, inviting you to discover its exceptional medieval heritage.
Gastronomy is also part of Touraine’s Heritage: rillettes of Tours, wines of Vouvray and Saumur, nougat of Tours, rillons of Touraine (pork) and many others…
