Très bien placé pour visiter Castelnaudary. Mieux vaut réserver car peu de place.

Il y a mieux
C est sur on est en ville mais par contre c est un peu bruyant. L aire n est pas très grande pas facile avec une remorque. Lorsqu on y est allé le compteur de véhicules ne devait pas fonctionner correctement car il restait plus de places libres que ce qui était indiqué sur le site.

Stayed here before, would do so again. Slightly sloping ground, will need ramps if staying more than one night. Easy walk into town which has Boulangeries, restaurants and shops.

In the center of a beautiful little village
Excellent situated for a visit to the beautiful town. During daytime you have a lot of ambient noise from the city, there is little shade and due to the absence of grass (only gravel) it can be verry hot during the day. At the back you can take a nice walk along the Canal de Midi to the center of the beautiful town.

Aire bien située près du canal du Midi, de la ville et de ses commerces. Emplacements étroits

Aire très proche du canal et du centre ville. Les emplacements sont très étroits mais il est difficile de tout avoir ! Pour manger un excellent cassoulet, je vous conseille le "Petit Moka" , le patron est super sympa et le restaurant à échelle humaine.

The space was quite tight for the number of vans when full. Some road noise during the night. The town was ok and most of the restaurants sell Cassoulet which is a local dish. If you walk along the canal past the Grand Basin and cross the road you will find a flight of 4 consecutive locks. Fascinating to watch a boat come up the flight. On ok place if you are looking for somewhere to stay for the night.
