Grande déception
Tres mal placée. Inondée. Pas accueillant du tout.

Notre rôle est d’accompagner les communes à faire évoluer la qualité de leurs aires pour permettre aux camping-caristes de séjourner dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Very disappointed
We have stayed here a few times before and love the walk around the lake and buffalo grill is across the car park for an evening meal 👍 but on arrival this time the adjoining car park has been occupied by about 30 gypsy caravans they had dogs chained up outside in kennels which were constantly barking and lots of noisy children 👎 we stayed about half an hour and then left it didn’t feel safe we definitely wouldn’t have walked our dog around the lake and left the camper unattended.

We were really looking forward to returning here, however…
We stayed here in 2023 and loved the site especially the walks around the lake, however on returning this year we were horrified to see that the adjacent car park was occupied by a “community“ of what looked like a permanent township. of dozens of random caravans and motor homes with chained up barking dogs. It did not feel safe. There were only 2 other motor homes on our site and I expect that others got the same impression of an unsafe site. We stayed anyway as there was no alternative nea

For enhanced security, please note that customer service is available 7 days a week from 7am to midnight (depending on the season) on 01.83.64.69.21 and can call in a technician, partner or the police if necessary. Zu empfehlender Stellplatz. Umgebung sehr schön. Super Anbindung mit dem Bus in die Stadt. Die Fahrt ist kostenlos

Surroundings spoiled by neighbouring site
The site is good, though I noticed that a least two vans were taking two pitches, not because they were too long to fit into the bays but because the drivers of the vehicles didn’t seem to understand that the pitches were delineated by the white lines and had parked (quite neatly) with the lines through the centre of their vehicle. Unsure how people can report sightings of this. ambience of the site is spoiled by the caravan park next door. I appreciate the that CCP can do little about this.

Dogs.
This could be a really lovely place to stay, however there is a caravan site next door to this site with quite a number of dogs in kennels and wandering around and felt I wasn’t going to get the rest required for my onward journey. I understand there is nothing Camping-Car can do about it as it’s up to the authorities but after 400km on the road I felt the need to change location. Lussac is around 20minutes away and a world away from this site. I will review Lussac later.
