Tourism / Discovery
Discover the wild and authentic South of Occitanie by staying in Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, at the foot of the mountains. This historic Catalan village is a gateway to gorges, vineyards, and castles.
From the campsite, head to the spectacular Gorges de Galamus, carved into limestone cliffs. Along this breathtaking route, you’ll find the Hermitage of Saint-Antoine, a spiritual sanctuary clinging to the rock.
Saint-Paul is also a hub on the Cathar castles route: Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, and Puilaurens rise dramatically from the mountain tops nearby. Wine lovers will appreciate the friendly welcome in Fenouillèdes wineries, where passionate winemakers share their AOP wines.
Whether you’re hiking, cycling, or just taking it easy, the area offers fresh mountain air, stunning views, and a Mediterranean climate. It’s a peaceful retreat where time seems to slow down.
