The start of the route begins in Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier, a town located in the Alpes Mancelles. Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier is part of the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.
In this hilly and wooded environment you can discover the typical villages of:
Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, a “Petite Cité de Caractère” located 13 km from Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier.
Saint-Céneri-le-Gerei, labeled “Plus Beau Village de France”, also located 13 km from the area.
The fortified village of Bourg-le-Roi, 21 km from Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier.
Saint-Léonard-des-Bois, a “Petite Cité de Caractère”, located 7 km from the area.

You can go fishing on the banks of the Sarthe river in Saint-Saturnin .
The town is close to the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Natural Park. The Loir river borders La Bruère-sur-Loir and offers a setting conducive to walks and fishing.
The Saint-Martin church, classified as a Historic Monument, is the only religious building present on Bruère-sur-Loir and deserves to be visited! It was destroyed and rebuilt at the end of the 11th century.
The Château de la Maison Rouge is located in the town and was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century in tufa and bricks, in place of the old house which was destroyed by the owner who found it too small and in poor condition. The Castle can't be visited.
For walks in nature, we advise you to go to the Bercé Forest, one of the seven exceptional forests in France ("Forêt d'Exception" label).

Fishermen will be well oriented in La Bruère-sur-Loir as a marked fishing route dedicated to them!
Le Lude, a ”Petite Cité de Caractère” located in the Loir Valley, offers all local shops.
To get to the city center, take the small path that runs alongside the campsite.

The location of the area leaves room for many activities around the lake, bordered by a fine sandy beach and a fishing lake; you can cycle, rollerblade, walk, swim, canoe or even observe birds.
