Located in the Grand Saint-Emilionnais region, Lussac has a few hidden treasures among the vines. The village takes its name from the Gallo-Roman villa of Luccius, the remains of which can still be seen today at the heart of a vineyard estate.

If you take a short break at the Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens service area, don't leave without visiting this village, which is part of the Grand Saint Emilionnais region. The tidal bore is a wave that forms at the mouth of the Gironde and travels up the river for over 100 km. A true natural phenomenon, it occurs with every tide. For the most spectacular view, visit between June and October, when the water is at its lowest level and the tidal coefficient exceeds 90, making the phenomenon even more impressive.
