Beach Sport Festival During the summer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var hosts the Beach Sport Festival, a major sporting event held along the seafront. The 2026 edition runs from 30 June to 26 July and includes competitions and activities centred on beach sports. Un été à la Villa From early July to early August, the town presents Un été à la Villa, a summer programme featuring shows, concerts and cultural activities in a friendly setting. Fête de la Saint-Laurent Held around 10 August, the patron saint’s festival traditionally combines music, entertainment, a pilgrimage and a procession. It is one of the highlights of the summer in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Summer entertainment Concerts, open-air cinema screenings, readings, dances and family events complete the summer programme. Between Nice and Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var offers a pleasant stopover on the Mediterranean coast. Its fully pedestrianised seafront is ideal for walking, while cycle paths provide easy access between the coast and the town centre. Pebble beaches, the marina and the Promenade des Flots Bleus create the perfect setting for enjoying the sunshine of the French Riviera. The marina is one of the town’s main lively areas. Its quays are lined with numerous restaurants and terraces, perfect for enjoying a Mediterranean speciality overlooking the boats. Sports enthusiasts can also go diving, play beach volleyball, try water sports or follow the trails laid out along the seafront. A few kilometres inland, the Old Village reveals a more authentic side of the town. Its narrow streets, colourful façades and Saint-Laurent Church recall the area’s Provençal past. This charming walk offers the chance to discover another side of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, away from the bustle of the seafront. The motorhome area is also a good starting point for exploring the French Riviera. Nice and its famous Promenade des Anglais are very close, as are the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes, the Renoir Museum and the Rives du Var departmental nature park. Monaco, Antibes and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are also within easy reach for a day trip.
