Motorhome area of Puimoisson (Alpes de Haute Provence)

Around thirty kilometres from the Verdon Gorge and Lake Sainte-Croix, have a stay with your motorhome or van in this hilltop village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. Situated on the Valensole plateau and its lavender fields, Puimoisson is a charming village typical of Provence, with a rich architectural and cultural heritage. A simple visit to the local shops reveals the treasures of Provence: olive oil, essential oils and other traditional products. Take a stroll through the village centre to discover the fountain and the main square, which hosts a ball every year to celebrate Bastille Day. At the top of Puimoisson, enjoy a breathtaking view of the lavender fields and mountains of the Verdon Regional Park. For an even more stunning view of the surroundings, go hot-air ballooning. Puimoisson is renowned for distilling lavender, as well as clary sage, everlasting, fennel and herbs destined for Grasse. There are several small villages to discover in the vicinity: Manosque, Digne, Riez, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Lurs. On foot or by bike, follow the sunny paths of Verdon. Starting from the village, a 10-kilometre loop leads you to the airfield. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the moutains.
