In July and August, the L’Épine Night Market takes place every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the town hall park, bringing together local artisans, producers and food tasting stalls. Craft markets are also held occasionally in Place de la Poste. Elsewhere on the island, the markets of Noirmoutier-en-l’Île, L’Herbaudière and Le Vieil are perfect places to discover fresh fish, oysters, sea salt, Noirmoutier potatoes and other local Vendée specialities.

L’Épine and the other villages on Noirmoutier Island offer a wide range of events throughout the year, including concerts, exhibitions, guided tours, traditional festivals and activities celebrating nature and local heritage. During the summer, the events programme is especially varied. Highlights of the 2026 programme include: Les Guinguettes de L’Épine, featuring dance evenings, food stalls and entertainment.
