Bonnétable is a beautiful little town in Sarthe located 30 km north-east of Le Mans. Follow the historical path to discover all the charms of this green destination. You will pass by the Jardin Potager (National Heritage Site), a typical French garden designed at the end of the 19th century. It is home to a number of treasures (a varied fauna, greenhouses...) and an incredible colour palette is revealed throughout the seasons. In summer, deckchairs, books and games are available to spend a pleasant time with family and friends. Continue your walk through the park, the marketplace, the statue of Mélusine, the former covered market... Observe the castle of Bonnétable from the outside during your walk (as it is a private property, it can't be visited). In front of the castle, the public park invites you to relax. There, you can see magnificent wash houses on the Tripoulain river banks. Walkers will appreciate the paths along the river and fishermen can enjoy their favourite activity !
