The town is a treasure of culture and nature. The natural landscape where countryside, forests and rivers meet are breathtaking. You will for example be able to see the beautiful castle of Grandval or even the presqu’ile of Ambialet.
If you like fishing you will be happy to discover the pond that is only 200m away.
If you would prefer to discover the cultural heritage, you could visit the site of the Ambialet which is classified “monument historique” (National heritage site). If you enter the church of Notre Dame d’Alban you will be able to discover the fascinating paintings of Greschny.
You mustn't leave without trying some of their local specialties. If you like meat you should try the “bourgnette”, le “fricandeau” ou even the “Meslat”. If you prefer cheese you should try the famous “Roquefort” or the “pérail”. And finally if you have a sweet tooth you should try “Les croquants de Cordes”, the “Echaudé” or “La Croustade aux Pommes”.
