Les Salaisons de l'Adour are present three times a week, at lunchtime or in the evening, at the stopping places.
They offer Basque cakes with black cherry jam and almond cream. These cakes are made by Jérôme, a craftsman for over 25 years. They are homemade every day before you pass through the area, without any colouring or preservatives.
New for 2021: salted country ham! Produced at the Salaisons de l'Adour, at the foot of the Pyrenees, it is matured for 14 months and sold in 80g tubs.

Less than 20km from Lourds (famous religious city), Pierrefitte-Nestalas is a charming little mountain village located at the foot of the Pyrénées.
By staying here, you will be close to the tourist points of Gavarnie, Lourdes, Cauterets, Pont d’Espagne and the Pic du midi Tourmalet.
In spring, enjoy a lot of hiking trails in the heart of a preserved environnement! The area is located at the starting point of la voie verte ‘“Chemin Des Voyageurs”. The visit to the old town will lead you to the mill and the church with it’s old paintings. A guided visit is organised by the tourist office.
For a family outing, don’t miss the zoo of Argelès-Gazost and its 14 hectares of nature. It is located less than 10km from the area.
In winter, the proximity of the ski resorts offers you all the snow activities: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, sledging, snowshoeing, dog sledding...
