Avèze is a pretty little town located in the southern part of the Cévennes National Park, at the foot of the Aigual massif.
The village is situated at the foot of the Causse de Blandas and continues to Le Vigan through the faubourg of Rochebelle. Its picturesque streets, with charming 18th and 19th century mansions, which were used for spinning mills, farms and apple orchards that covered the valley.
It is a lively destination, which offers activities to discover throughout the seasons. The landscapes are impressive, especially the wide open spaces you can discover by visiting the Cirque de Navacelles.
For a sporting stay, enjoy these outdoor activities: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing... The tourist office located in Le Vigan, 3 km from the site, will advise you on the most beautiful spots.
