About twenty kilometres from Limoges (porcelain museum), Nantiat is a small rural village between the mountains of Ambazac and Blond.
Located in the heart of the Monts du Limousin, this natural region offers more than 50 hiking trails! During your walks, you will certainly see some menhirs, illustrating the history of the region.
Many cycle paths and mountain bike trails.
In Nantiat, the church is one of the few in the Limousin to have stained-glass windows dating from 1915 and dedicated to the First World War.
Discover the Croix Parot menhir, another emblematic site of the village: it is the last visible vestige of a Celtic tribe that decided to settle in Nantiat.
Nearby, don’t miss the memorial centre of Oradour-sur-Glane, the lake of Saint-Pardoux and the mountains of Ambrazac and Blond. To reach Limoges, think of the train!
