Taillebourg is an authentic historical town with a rich historical and architectural heritage which dates back to the Middle Ages. It is also in a well preserved natural environment.
Discover the castle and its woodland park. From here you will have an incredible paronamic view of the Charente Valley; come and stroll through its little streets and hamlets!
The Taillebourg docks are worth a visit. The waterways here are famous. You can rent a pedal boat or an electric or motorised boat for a discovery boat trip along the Charente. There are alos lots of other water activities to do, like jet-skiing, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming...
It's an ideal environment for fans of hiking and history, but also for those looking for peace and quiet in nature.
