Located 35 kilometers east from Amiens, the peaceful village of Bray-sur-Somme is nestled in the Somme valley. Those who love nature, quietness and fishing will adore this destination. Discover the natural sites and ponds of the Haute Somme by following the cycling and walking paths. The « Vallée de la Somme » cycling route runs for 160 kilometers along the river. As for the hikes, the Gros Mont trail will offer you wonderful landscapes for 2 hours. Starting from the Béthisy wash house, you will reach Etinehem while following the Somme river. In the village, do not miss the Saint-Nicolas church, classified as a National Heritage Site, the fountain erected in 1951 in front of the town hall, as well as the three military cemeteries (French, German and British). The historical museum of Bray-sur-Somme describes the major events of the town and its surroundings from the Celtic period to the end of the Second World War. Visit the Great War sites: the Australian memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, the British memorial in Thiepval… For an original ride, climb aboard the P’tit Train de la Haute Somme (little train).
