Reuilly is in the heart of the Berry. This is a peaceful town by the Arnon River (a tributary of the River Cher). It has some important well preserved monuments, such as the Manor of Reuilly, the Roman Church, the Comandery of the Ormeteau Templars, Ferté Castle, etc.
Reuilly's vineyards belong to the great family of wines in the Centre Loire Region.
The Reuilly whites (AOC since 1937) are particularly appreciated for their fresh fruitiness and floral and herbal aromas. They go perfectly with goats cheeses from the Berry!
Take the time to visit a wine cellar in Reuilly. You will be warmly welcomed by the wine growers, and invited to taste their wines in three shades (white, red and grey).
Gastronomy is really important here! Did you know that you can find some excellent restaurants in and around Reuilly, like the 3 Cépages, which is held by a Japanese couple. The traditional Berry dishes here are all made with local fruits, vegetables and meats.
