The Marguerite Audoux Museum, located in Sainte-Montaine, traces the history of the Sologne writer, orphan, shepherdess and seamstress who became a successful novelist and winner of the Prix Fémina in 1910 for Marie-Claire. It displays her personal belongings, manuscripts, correspondence and photos in a modern and immersive museum setting that illustrates her childhood, her career as a writer and her links with other authors of her time.

Hikers can enjoy the 30 km of footpaths available, such as the GR 31 and 41, which offer beautiful walks along the Canal de Berry.
Fishing enthusiasts can find 3 ponds in the village, including the Noue pond, just opposite the campsite.
Neuvy-sur-Barangeon has a rich historical heritage: take a look at the restored old watermills or wander through the cobbled streets of the village.
