Tourism / Discovery
La Seu d'Urgell is a town in the Catalan Pyrenees and the main town in the north of the province of Lleida. It is located less than 200 km from Barcelona, in a privileged natural setting.
The town offers a wide range of cultural, leisure and sporting activities, and has numerous shops in the centre where you can buy high-quality local products.
La Seu is an excellent starting point for mountain routes, as it is located at the foot of the Cadí mountain range. The panoramic views from its surroundings are truly spectacular.
There are different routes to discover the city, its history and its surroundings:
-The historic centre : This route begins at the foot of the Cathedral of Santa María, a Romanesque gem, and allows you to discover the most emblematic buildings
of the old town.
- The new town : A route that crosses the old boundaries of the medieval town and showcases the most modern architecture in La Seu.
Just 35 km away is the Sant Joan de l'Erm ski resort, located in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. It is an ideal place to enjoy skiing with the family, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
