Motorhome area of Hirel (Ille et Vilaine)

Hirel invites you to explore the Mont-Saint-Michel bay and the more than 100 km of coastline with beaches, rocks and many other landscapes. The beach of La Grève, opposite the campsite, is a fishing spot and a great place to watch the spring tides. You can also try your hand at sand yachting, a popular activity in the region. The GR34 hiking trail, which starts from Mont-Saint-Michel to Cancale, runs along the Grève beach and the Duchess Anne dyke to lead you into the heart of the « Marais Noir » (black marsh). A climb to the top of Mont-Dol, a 65 meters high granite rock, will give you a breathtaking view of the bay. Follow the walking and cycling path of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay and meander between the poplars, a little set back from the sea. On foot, by bike or even on horseback, you are bound to appreciate the trails of Hirel. The village’s history is marked by its mills, some of which are still visible today. Directly from the campsite, visit the Ville-es-Brune mill, restored in 2017.
