Motorhome area of Metabief

The town of Métabief is mainly recognized for its national winter sports resort. It offers a unique panorama of the Alps from its summit, at the top of Morond. In winter, the Métabief Mont d'Or resort offers 26 slopes spread over 37 km and a multitude of activities (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fat bike, sled dogs, skating rink, tobogganing, etc.). The cross-country skiing area is immense and connected with the Grande Traversée du Jura. In summer, this destination in the heart of the Jura mountains reveals omnipresent nature. Take the many hiking, cycling or even horseback trails to discover breathtaking views over the entire valley. The activities are just as numerous as in winter. A tourist train will take you for a walk in the forests of Haut-Doubs. Métabief is also a history and heritage focused on iron mines in the 15th century, then turned to agriculture, cereal crops and dairy production. The flour-milling museum also reveals the old workshops and equipment used for processing cereals.
