The location of the village allows you to travel around one of the most remarkable sites in France. Enjoy a refreshing break on the two supervised beaches of Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche that have been awarded the Blue Flag certification. These two beaches are located a few meters from the campsite: the Grain de Sel beach and the Sauze beach. From the village, take a shuttle bus to the beginning of the descent of the Ardèche Gorges by canoe/kayak. A sumptuous, unspoilt landscape awaits you in the very heart of an exceptional setting. Enjoy the experience! After a descent of 8, 24 or 32 kilometers, you arrive directly at the beach of Sauze. From there you can easily walk to the campsite. Other outdoor activities (more or less sporty) delight everyone: fishing, horse riding, paddle, speleology, tennis lessons, outdoor fitness, orienteering, playgrounds… and of course, hiking! Many marked trails allow you to explore the village and the surroundings. In summer (July-August), don’t miss the Wednesday and Sunday morning markets. On the quayside by the river, stroll past the typical Ardèche stalls! You will also find leather goods, hats… Every Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight, around thirty exhibitors, craftsmen, producers and creators gather for the night market.
