Motorhome area of Seyssel (Ain)

This peaceful village is at a crossroads between the Ain, Savoie and Haute-Savie, 40 km West of Annecy. Seyssel welcomes you for a stopover in nature by the river. The outdoor leisure center is just a few meters from the site. Children and adults can enjoy some refreshing activities here: the beach (supervised swimming in July and August), children's play areas, large green spaces, pedalos, canoes/kayaks (descents on the old Rhône)... Head out on the "Trois empreintes pour un même paysage" ! (Three footprints in the same landscape) hiking trail to discover the countryside around Seyssel. The loop starts in the town and largely follows the GR65 (Saint-James Way). The three footprints of the land are the soil, the history and the River Rhône. Cycling enthusiasts will be pleased to know they are at the starting point of stage 5 of the Via Rhôna which links Seyssel to Belley via Chanaz. This stage (green way and road), is 33.16 km long, and it is nestled in a landscape which is dotted with waterfalls and lakes. You will also see vines and authentic little villages! Courageous souls might want to climb the Grand Colombier. Seyssel is at the foot of this famous mountain on the Tour de France route. From the top you get a panoramic view of the Alps, the Mont Blanc, Bourget Lake, the River Rhône and Bugey.
