This town of Aveyron has a rich heritage, most of which is listed as National Heritage Sites (Monument historique): The castle of Saint-Beauzély: it now houses the « Musée de la Mémoire de la Vie Rurale » (Museum of the Memory of Rural Life). Discover a collection of more than 5 000 objects and a reconstruction of a classroom from the beginning of the century. The Priory of Comberoumal: built in the 12th century, this superbly restored building is nestled in a quiet and green setting. Visits are open all year round and every August, the « Festival des Musiques Sacrées de Sylvanès » (music festival) takes place in the Priory itself.
